Gaetano has over 20 years of experience as an investor and entrepreneur. Before joining Vi Partners—a renowned Swiss VC and our lead investor in the last financing round—as a partner in 2023, Gaetano worked in mergers and acquisitions in London for 15 years. He also founded an alternative asset manager focused on environmental investments. He has worked with a number of European blue-chip companies, sovereign wealth funds, and leading private equity firms, advising them on acquisition strategies, strategic financings, and divestiture programs.

Most recently, Gaetano held C-level positions in strategy, business development, and asset management at leading Swiss financial institutions. Gaetano holds an MBA from IMD Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

In addition to his professional activities, Gaetano is also an avid mountaineer, surfer, and restaurateur. When he's not chasing new startups, peaks, or waves, he spends his time in the canton of Vaud with his wife, two teenage sons, and several pets.
