The Website is operated by LeaseTeq AG, Scheideggstrasse 73, 8038 Zurich, Switzerland, together with its subsidiaries and affiliated companies in other countries (collectively "LEASETEQ", "we").

Depending on your country of residence and the type of services we provide, the relevant LEASETEQ entity acts as the controller of your personal data. Details of the responsible entity and its contact information are provided in the "Contact" section.

Applicable laws: We process your personal data exclusively based on applicable legal provisions. Depending on your country of residence, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telecommunications-Digital-Services-Data-Protection Act (TDDDG), the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021), and for Swiss customers, the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TKG) apply.

Unless otherwise defined in this privacy policy or in our General Terms and Conditions, the terms used in this privacy policy have the same meaning as in the data protection regulations applicable to you.

5.2 External Hosting

The web server hosting our Website is technically provided by hosttech GmbH, Seestrasse 15a, 8805 Richterswil, Switzerland, as a processor. During hosting, all data processed in connection with the use of this Website and our services are stored on the hosting provider's servers. The appropriate protection level for transfers to Switzerland arises from the Commission’s adequacy decision.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider, ensuring that data is processed solely according to our instructions.

Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure proper functionality, improve user experience, and analyze Website usage.

7.2 Live Chat

We use Userlike UG's live chat solution, Probsteigasse 44-46, 50670 Cologne, Germany ("Userlike"). Userlike allows us to optimize customer support and contact users nearly in real-time. Besides inquiry and chat usage data, we may process other personal data you provide during the chat.

Legal basis: Processing is for pre-contractual measures or to fulfill a contract.

Deletion: Contact dataprivacy@leaseteq.com to request deletion of chat recordings.

 

8. DATA PROCESSING IN OUR SERVICES

8.1 Financing calculator

Purpose: Data entered into the financing tool are processed for pre-contractual measures.

Legal basis: Processing is for pre-contractual measures or based on legitimate interest.

Data sharing: No data transfer to third parties occurs.

8.2 Financing application and credit check

Purpose: Data is processed to establish the business relationship, including creditworthiness assessment.

8.3 Credit check and credit agencies

Depending on your residence:

  • Germany | SCHUFA: Data for credit assessment collected.

  • Austria | KSV1870: Data for credit assessment collected.

  • Switzerland | ZEK, CRIF AG, Intrum AG: Data for credit assessment collected.

Legal basis: Data transfer based on legitimate interest.

Automated decision-making: Automated scoring may be used; the final decision is not solely automated.

Data included in scoring:

  • Application details

  • Credit agency data

  • Possibly other credit data

Rights: You can request information on the logic and effects of automated decisions.

8.4 Data categories processed

9. RETENTION PERIODS
